Automatic Coffee Brewer

My mom wants a single cup coffee maker for christmas, and I was searching around and it seems like the best kind is a keurig. True?

Since my mom isn’t into any fancy coffees or teas or anything, I was wondering if this system allows other brands of pods to be used in it? I’ll use the k-cups as well, but I think she would mainly use the Folger’s coffee pods.

Any help would be great and let me know if you like this machine! Or, if you’d like to suggest a different brand of brewer, thats good too:) Thanks!

I work for a bookstore, and in our cafe we have a Bunn CWTF15-APS series airpot coffee brewer. The problem is that it will not heat to 180 degrees, which is the temperature required for properly brewing our coffee. It will only get as hot as 140 degrees. We just replaced the limit thermostat and tested the inline thermal fuse. We also tested the voltage for the tank heater and it was incredibly low, despite the fact that everything else seems to be functioning properly. Any ideas or information would be highly appreciated.. Thanks. :]

I love the new single coffee cup brewers. I’ve tried the Tassimo and the Keurig brewed coffees. Which would you prefer to purchase?

(Tassimo coffee – bitter tasting like Starbucks, but can make esspresso based coffees and more high tech — with barcodes! On the other hand, Keurig coffee has more selection and brews better coffee… Can’t decide!!)

so just today i was driving to the mall and went to put gas in the car and then I after the mall i realized that my car sounds like a coffee brewer, i dropped my friend off and opened the front of the car to check on the engine, and it sounded weirder than normal, but maybe that’s just me hearing things… either way, at a normal 20 mph the sound is pretty annoying
what could it be??!!
btw… i drive an 08 toyota corolla
